Dermapen (microneedling) creates controlled micro-channels in the dermis to stimulate collagen and elastin. Expect firmer, smoother, more radiant skin with gradual improvement over several days. A typical course is 4–6 sessions spaced 2–6 weeks apart. Temporary redness/swelling is normal—follow the aftercare for best results.
Before treatment, a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid is applied. The device then creates micro-channels that enhance serum delivery into the dermal layer. Needle depth is adjusted to match your skin concerns:
- Texture, fine lines, firmness: shallower depths for - a tightening and smoothing effect.
Scars: deeper, targeted passes to remodel damaged tissue and support healthier skin.
Treatment plan
Most clients see best results with 4–6 sessions, scheduled every 2–6 weeks depending on intensity and skin response. Suitable for most skin types and ages; your practitioner will assess individual suitability.
Before your appointment
To minimise discomfort, you may apply a topical anaesthetic to the treatment area about 60 minutes before the session if advised by your practitioner.
