Before treatment
Apply an anesthetic cream about an hour before the procedure to reduce discomfort.
After treatment
Redness and swelling may occur immediately after injections and usually last 2–7 days. Bruising can also appear but is normal. Cooling the treated area helps reduce swelling.Avoid touching the area for the first 4 hours. After that, cleanse gently with mild facial cleanser and water. Moisturizer and makeup may be applied. Avoid swimming pools, dusty or polluted environments on the day of the injection to reduce infection risk.
