Before treatment
To minimize discomfort, apply an anesthetic cream to the treatment area one hour before the procedure.
After treatment
Redness, swelling, or bruising may occur and usually last 2–7 days. Lip injections may cause swelling for 7–14 days, and tear trough treatments can take longer to settle. These reactions are normal and can be reduced with cooling.
