As we age, the body’s natural production of hyaluronic acids gradually slows down. Hyaluronic acids provide the skin with moisture and filling, firmness and elasticity. With increased age, the skin therefore starts to lose its firmness and wrinkles and fine lines start appearing.
In addition to hyaluronic acids, the Hyaluronic Booster contains a certain combination of amino acids, which are the main ingredients of collagen. What makes the Hyaluronic Booster so effective is the mineral calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) that stimulates the body’s production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This unique chemical composition maintains and contributes to better skin health and less signs of aging.
Number of treatments: Good results can be seen after only one treatment. To see optimal results 2 treatments with an interval of 3-4 weeks are recommended. To maintain the results a Hyaluronic Booster treatment is recommended every 6-12 months.
Before treatment: To reduce discomfort during the treatment, it is recommended to apply an anesthetic cream on the treatment area an hour before treatment.
After treatment: Redness and swelling can be felt in the treatment area immediately after injection and usually last for 2-7 days. A bruise can occur after treatment in some cases. These are all normal reactions to the injection. Cooling the treatment area can significantly reduce swelling.
Clients should avoid touching the treatment area in the first 4 hours after injection. From then on the treatment area may be wiped with a mild facial cleanser and water. Moisturizing lotion and makeup may be applied as well. It is recommended to avoid swimming pools, polluted environment and dust on the day of the injection.
