A minimum of 6-12 months has to pass from the time the scar was formed until treatment is performed. A minimum of 3-6 months has to pass from the time the stretch mark was formed until treatment is performed.
Number of treatments: It is common that 4-6 treatments are needed to see good results, depending on the size of the treatment area and the depth of the scar / stretch mark. A minimum of 2-3 weeks has to pass between treatments, depending on the treatment area. When treating a facial scar it is recommended that at least 3-4 weeks pass between treatments but when treating body scars / stretch marks the treatment can be performed every 2-3 weeks.

It is recommended to apply a healing lotion on the treatment area after treatment and follow strict hygienic measures to prevent infections.
After treatment the following is recommended:
· Apply a healing lotion on the treatment area twice a day for one week.
· Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least one week.
· Avoid going to the swimming pool for 1-7 days, depending on the treatment form.
· Use sunscreen (at least SPF 30) for at least one week.
